I'm Michelle, the founder of Destinations by Design. My love for travel blossomed during my childhood when my family embarked on annual getaways, exploring charming European destinations such as Spain, the Balearics, Greek Islands, and the enchanting world of Disney. These cherished memories ignited my lifelong passion for travel.

Over the years, I've ventured to more distant corners of the globe, from backpacking expeditions through South East Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa, to unforgettable journeys across the Caribbean, America (including iconic cities like New York, LA, San Francisco, and Michigan), Canada, and several cruise adventures. One of my most unforgettable experiences was braving subzero temperatures at the Ice Hotel in Sweden, where I indulged in thrilling activities like snowmobiling and husky dog rides. Of course, sipping cocktails at the renowned ice bar added to the enchantment of the trip!

As someone who is always planning the next adventure, I realised it was time to turn my passion into my profession!
